The Open Group Security Program Strategy
"Developing strategic directions for The Open Group's Security Program"
You are here: Security Forum > Security Strategy

This is the home page for supporting activities to develop, maintain and evolve the strategy for the Open Group's Security Program.

Objectives

The Open Group members and staff aim to maintain a sound strategy for our security programs and projects, aimed at keeping pace with the increasing threats and vulnerabilities that challenge our IT operations, by setting the directions for how we can best add value to securing future IT operations.

Activity

This is an ongoing review process that was launched in June 2009 with a 10-question members survey, and a face-to-face meeting at our July 2009 Toronto meeting.

It is a necessary ongoing activity that ideally should be reviewed annually.
